I was waiting for Kid Icarus: Uprising to tell us Magnus is hyper-strong because he’s a demi-god, but the game never went there. Then again, it never went anywhere with his dead kid either except to say, “Oh yeah Magnus has a kid. He dead.”

Pants, though!

Magnus and Gaol spin-off, please.

HA HA HA HA

I asked my friend who played Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes to explain this joke to me. Now that he has, I will never, ever play Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and I hate this world forever.

They made Phosphora look a bit like Roll Caskett. I approve.

you guys should all go to gamestop right now and pick up a copy of kid icarus uprising, bring it to the cash register, ask how much you have to pay for it, and the cashier will be like “$42.00 pays it”

Chapter 4, intensity 2.0. *plays it*

“Even a pebble becomes a bullet if you move fast enough.”

— Viridi, Kid Icarus Uprising

This line always bugged me, for three reasons:

  1. A pebble becomes a bullet if you move quickly? That doesn’t make sense.
  2. "Fast" is an adjective, not an adverb. It really bothers me when people make this mistake, because there are so many words that could be used: quickly, rapidly, speedily, swiftly, and so on.
  3. The point she’s trying to make is that something small becomes deadly at high speeds. So why use a pebble as an example? A better example would be, you know, a bullet.

Fortunately, Viridi makes up for this line when she says, “You are the arrow of light that pierces the heart of darkness!”

Kid Icarus: Uprising for 3DS is on sale at my work and with that and my discount it’ll be 14.40$. Is it worth it? I’ve never played any kid Icarus games

Yes. Absolutely yes. Very, very yes.

More Samus!

Morph Ball Racing should be a thing.

Is that a stockpile of Bombs in the back? If so, kudos for that detail.

Morph Ball Racing? No. I stand firm in my belief that Mario Kart should become Super Smash Kart. The series has already seen various Namco characters, plus Mii, ROB, and Donkey Kong characters. Let’s get Kirby in a Warp Star, Fox in a Landmaster, Link on Epona, Pit in an Exo-Tank, Mega Man on Rush, and so on. Make it like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
